I contacted teachers lodge and this was their reply:

"Thank you for your inquiry.
Yes thats the monthly rate. The cheapest room starts from 46'500 plus 6'300 for utilities and 20'000 deposit. Shower and washer are coinoperated.
If you stay less than a month, weekly rates apply, which is a bit higher, but for 1.5 month you pay 1 month and the rest pro rated from the monthly price.
please contact us if you are interested in renting a room.

I suspect the 48000 is rent for a month stay correct? I was planning on staying in 2 locations during a 3 month period but pepending on the convenience of staying in a single location, I may wish to stay longer. I know some places rent by the month, but I was curious to know if it cost more or daily if I wanted to stay 1.5 months instead?
