Great place. Nice staff/great people to live with. Would highly recommend living here to anyone looking for an affordable monthly place without all of the hassle of key money, etc. Came to be around $500/month or $17/night.

Private rooms are 6 tatami mats with air conditioner, personal refrigerator, two shelves, one low table, futon, pillow, mat, and sheets. I stayed on the 2nd floor (mixed boys and girls). While I was the only girl, there was no problem at all. Bathroom on the floor was mixed, with two urinals, two Japanese-style toilets, and one western toilet(!). Room was internet ready (I just plugged in a cable and it worked like a charm).

Shared kitchen on first floor with all of the amenities (microwave, microwave oven, pots, pans, rice cooker, drawer space for each room to have dry goods, two large refrigerators, etc.), gender-separate shower room(3 stalls in the girls shower area), washer AND drier access (free -- just pay for your own soap), and a TV with satellite (I think...I haven't figured out how to work it yet, but it seems to have a ton of channels).

The place is about 3 blocks from the Atagobashi station. It's two stops via subway from Sendai Station. On the way, you pass a post office (very useful, as the ATM works for American debit cards!).

All in all, it's a good place for people in transition.
